Talking to Obama was smart. Though I was really hoping the President would clue the President-Elect in on how much hard work the job entails, and Donald would sneak out of the Oval Office, never to be seen again.
His body language at the press event afterwards was interesting. It’s about as humbled as I’ve ever seen him, and he had a deer in the headlights look on his face.
Might he actually – dare I suggest it – grow as a person as a result of this experience?
For the sake of our country, one can hope.

Alright, I’ll bite. Part of Trump’s “first 100 days” plan is to implement - presumably through Congress - a moratorium on federal employees becoming lobbyists for five or seven years after leaving government. Now, I am unsure how practical this is, but I don’t see anything wrong with the principle.
I really think he is surprised that he’s here. He obviously never thought he would win, hence beating the “it’s rigged” drum so loudly. What this will do to him is anyone’s guess.
Well, that’s ONE thing I can’t dispute. It’s only one thing, but the “revolving door” is a problem. Low and mid level guys can’t ride the revolving door, but the BIG guys who CAN do damage, ride that door all the time.
