I switched over to glass screen protectors for my smartphones a few years ago because they did not scratch as easily or lift up at the corners over time like plastic and the hard glass surface felt better contact-wise than the plastic film type screen protectors. I’ve had a few of my kid’s glass screen protectors shatter and crack over time and I replaced them figuring they sacrificed themselves to save the phone screen underneath. To me plastic screen protectors were old tech that had been passed by.
Now I see this video and I wonder if I made the right choice. Is plastic the way to go for impact resistance?
