Last night I tuned in to watch “Keith Olbermann’s Countdown” shown on MSNBC and was delighted by the guest host, http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3080452/Alison Stewart.
Stewart is very smart, funny, drop dead gorgeous and most likely earns enough pay to support herself. Other than that she doesn’t have a thing going for her. So color me smitten, at least until she reads this and files for the appropriate restraining order.
So do tell. Which newsbabe/or newshunk do you prefer?
Sumi Das formerly of Tech TV’s Fresh Gear, and now a broadcaster on a local (I think) news program, and I can’t remember, really puts the heat in my balloon. When the program first started her hair was very short, and over the years she let it grow out. IMO, an excellent move. Perfect. Hair typically doesn’t mean all that much to me, but this was a transformation! Hallelujah!

She’s a lot older than me, but Cokie Roberts is so elegant, sophisticated, and smart, I guess I have a little crush on her. Same thing with Christiane Amanpour.

Sidsel Overgaard. I used to hear her all the time on NPR, and I had a crush on her voice and her name. I never knew what she looked like.

I don’t know her name, and she’s not on all the time. She’s the business newsbabe on BBC World in the morning (sometimes). She looks Indian, has long black hair, some kind of mellow British accent, and a beautiful, open, very happy smile. God, she’s cute.
Mrs. Genghis laughs at me when she’s on - “Genghis! Your girlfriend’s on TV!”.
I’m a fan of Soledad O’Brien too, although it would probably be Campbell Brown’s face that I’d gaze upon the longest.
