Snake that Preyed on Sauropod Dinosaurs!

Article here.

Granted the sauropods in question were hatchling titanosaurs, only half a meter long, and the snake was “only” 3.5 meters long, it’s not quite the minds-eye picture of a snake big enough to swallow a full-grown broontosaurus. But it’s still cool.

Now Titanoboa was big enough to eat adult dinosaurs, but as it lived after they died out it had to make do with giant crocodiles. (This thing was found by some of my scientific colleagues here in Panama.)
