Did anyone else see this? In her second performance on tonight’s SNL, Ashlee Simpson came out on stage, and suddenly her voice came out before she had the mike to her lips. She stopped, the voice faded away, and then she did this awkward little dance around the stage. Then her voice came on again, she started to try to pretend she was singing, then she left the stage. The band kept playing for a minute or so until they cut away.
At the end of the show, she claimed that her band started playing the wrong song. Totally classless to blame it on the band to hide the fact that she just blew her lip-sync cues, or had a technical problem, or whatever.
