Hey…I’m trying to remember the names and powers for a group of super-heroes that made a few appearances on SNL in the Brad Hall years. Brad was one of them, and I think he was some sort of human stapler who was constantly stapling himself to things. Anyone remember the names and powers of the others? Also trying to think of the various sketches in which they appeared. The only one that I have any real memory of is a Halloween sketch where they were battling Mary Gross as the evil Coffee Queen, who was giving the kiddies cups of black coffee for tricks ‘n’ treats. Anyone?

Mary Gross was in a “Foldgers Crystals” commercial parody on May 5, 1984 with Gary Kroeger. They played patients.
That may have been the other one you were thinking of.
They also did an earlier version of the commercial Apr 7, 1984.
