It stands for “Long Beach Crips”, a notoriously violent street gang that Snoop did or does belong to. He also has “LCB” tattooed on the front of his torso.

Heh, a lot of people think LBC stands for “Long Beach Crips” but it doesn’t make too much sense “with so much drama in the Long Beach Crips” … although rappers don’t tend to care much about making sense, other cities are also associated with the “crips.” So, the same goes with crew …
As my good friend–who lives in Long Beach too–said “Long Beach-Compton, right?” … no dear, it’s not two cities put together … so even for us it could be confusing.

CPT definitely means Compton. If you look in the phone book for that part of town, for example, it has an abbreviation after everyone’s name to show the city they live in, and if someone lives in Compton it says Cpt. (Or at least it did when I lived in Paramount in the eighties.)
