First off, what the hell is this meme supposed to mean? I look for something that it has in common in each thread. I try to parse its literal meaning. Nothing works. What is the point of this phrase?
Two, is it bad that I’ve completely ignored this phrase entirely? And it’s not as if I have Bo on ignore or anything. It’s as if my brain decided, “This doesn’t make sense, so I’m not going to remember it.” And I’ve read all those threads and posted in many of them.
Finally, while this might be better for ATMB, isn’t there an actual rule about this sort of thing? Isn’t posting the same thing over and over considered a form of spamming on this board?
It started on the SDMB when someone was telling a story about hacking their boss’s computer to substitute that phrase when the boss type LOL. So it has the same meaning as LOL. The phrase itself was borrowed from The Office, but didn’t mean LOL there.
