I’ve been meaning to try this for awhile too, having heard about it in a lot of places, and reading several mentions of it here. So last night I went out and got one and tried it today.
I’m a little nervous, at this point, as things don’t seem to be going quite right. It took a great deal to get it in, and then was supremely uncomfortable for awhile once in. I also couldn’t figure out how to “spin” this thing.
It eventually seemed to settle in, and I thought I was getting more used to it and so was pleased. Until I went to the bathroom.
There was no leakage (and I’d used a panty liner just in case), but peeing was so painful. This isn’t the first time that feeling of peeing hurts like hell happened, it’s happened more than once after sex, and sometimes is so bad I can’t help but tear up a lot (and yelp, sometimes). Today was a tear up but not gasp in pain day.
I have had a lot of problems with sex and vaginal pain, and that’s what’s stopped me in the past from using tampons or getting a cup. Sex has been getting better, but it still can feel good in the moment (sometimes) and cause a painful, painful reaction after. This feels a lot like that. So I went to take it out and try again tomorrow.
The getting more comfortable thing? That appears to be the cup heading upwards and tilting sideways. Great. Damn thing is not just in, not just high in, but has WEDGED itself in there. I anticipate a fight when I finally go with all seriousness to get it out. Axe murderer look, here I come!
At least there’s no leakage, and no feeling of leakage, for now.
