So Eonwe, What'd ya think of Kansas City

Hey there my friend, never heard back what you thought of Kansas City, as you inquired in the Kansas City, here I come thread.
I’m curious what you thought of our fair city…

Wow!!! A thread with MY NAME IN THE TITLE!!! You don’t know how excited that makes me!

Well, I had a great time in KC. I loved it. I stayed in the Sheraton in/near the Plaza. I did a bit of window shopping, and spent some time in Barnes and Noble, bought some books, read some books…

I went up to the Jazz Museum which was a blast. I also spent an afternoon in Independance at the Truman Library/Homestead. I’ve had quite an interest in him and his presidency, so I really enjoyed that.

Food was great. I pretty much ate at various restaurants in the Plaza, most of which were very good. I particularly liked, um, PF Changs I think it was. Good chineese food there. And, everyone was incrediably friendly. All the people who waited on me got big tips (especially 'cause I wasn’t paying for it!).

The last night I was there I went to Westport and had a few beers listening to a local band. Definitely enjoyed myself.

The cows on the sidewalks were funny. I liked 'em. And the weather was pretty good too.

All in all, Kansas City gets a two thumbs up. I’d go back there in an instant if I had to. A pleasant city with pleasant people.

hooray!

he likes us, he really really likes us!
