Well, I don’t think friends get together ***to ***cuddle, they just sort of do, sometimes. Which is as it should be, because I’m pretty sure cuddling is supposed to be spontaneous.
Yeah, you’d think. But it was so awesome to just hang out and have people touch you in a nice, non-threatening way like your parents or nobody ever did. I don’t know. I really hate people touching me too, but in that scenario it’s just different somehow. I know it sounds all touchy-feely New-Agey Club Kids Weird, but it is just very cool.
Come on, footy pjs are awesome!
I’m a fairly cuddly person, but couldn’t imagine a cuddle party with strangers. the intimacy just wouldn’t be there the same way and I’d feel creeped. Free hugs are a different story, especially on a dark day.
Yeah. It’s not like, “Okay, show up at 8, we’ll have snacks, then snuggling starts at quarter past.” It’s more like people are hanging out, and you put your head in someone’s lap or they start playing with your hair or stroking you.
Yeah, or to recover needed stamina…
Maybe that’s ok for chicks, but guys don’t put their heads in each other’s laps or stroke each other’s hair. Fuck that.
Bromance. Ur doin it wrong.
I’ve never known a straight guy in my life who would put his head in another guy’s lap or stroke his hair. Have things really changed that much?
Yeah, having gay sex is the new not having gay sex.
I’ve never been to a cuddle party. I, however, once did hug a random stranger at a con. He was a cosplayer dressed as a character I like, and after I took his picture, I asked his permission before I glomped (ran up and hugged) him. He was so cute, but too young for me, so I settled for a hug and that was the end of it. That was the only time I’ve ever done such a thing.
I once sent out invitations to a “cuddle my wang” party.
Nobody came.
That’s the problem with these cuddle parties too.
