…and it was damned good!! I’m temping at an office far from my apt right now, and they have a health food store nearby. I went on Tuesday to get a few things for lunch and to snack on during the day, and decided I wanted yogurt, specifically whole-milk yogurt (very hard to find at “regular” grocery stores. So, I bought was I beleived to be a brand of yogurt called “Water Buffalo” - I should have known better. As I was eating it, I thought to myself, “this is some of the best yogurt ever!” and took a closer look at the container, so I would remember what kind it was in case I wanted more. Much to my surprise, it was actually made from the milk of water buffalo! I was not aware there was even a market for water buffalo milk products - cow, goat, and sheep milk are really the only things I’ve seen.
So, anybody else accidentally ate something kind of odd, only to find that it’s actually REALLY good?
(I’m very bored at this job today, so you might see a few threads from me - I’m actually surprised they even wanted a temp at all, considering how little I have to do)
