I kid, I kid. Coldplay is bland at best, they’re not terrible, but I can’t tell you anything about their music. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve heard it, but it’s not good enough for me to like, at the same time it’s also not bad enough to stow away for future avoidance or chastisement reference.

i have no problem with coldplay fans. personally i agree with the coldplay gene theory rather than thinking its a choice.
my tastes are pretty mainstream tho i have looked up other music styles on the internet to see if i might like it

Hmm. Now I like to think I’m as liberal as the next person, do your own thing as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else, yada yada yada, but apparently I have found my limit. I’m not even going to say it’s your choice and it’s nothing to be ashamed of, but, um, it is. Have you thought about seeking professional help? Think of those who love you. Think of teh children.

Yes, but reformed with different members as Audioslave. Audioslave has since broke up.
I recall seeing Coldplay on my brother’s playlist a while back. I was horrified. But then I remember he didn’t judge me when he caught me playing World of Warcraft. So I let it slide.
I had never heard Coldplay before seeing them on the Daily Show, where they played a couple songs from the new album.
Having heard those, I got the album and have to say that I really like it.
However, I hate their other albums. I only like Coldplay’s Viva la Vida.
How does that classify me?
This is not true. Chris Cornell is the only member of Soundgarden to also be in Audioslave. The other members of Audioslave are from the also-deceased Rage Against the Machine. Drummer Matt Cameron of Soundgarden has gone on to become Pearl Jam’s drummer, while Kim Thayil and Ben Shepard went on to form The Wellwater Conspiracy.

The OP is in fact a new stand-up routine I’ve been developing, which I performed for the first time on Sunday night. I delivered it DEADLY serious, so much so that initially, a couple of my friends in the audience actually believed I was coming out on stage. I typed it up last night, to learn develope it a bit more, and posted it here to see what people think of it. I’ll post a video of it on youtube next time I perform it!
