I was watching the Venture Bros. tonight and one of the characters wakes up in a bathtub filled with ice and a notice to call the police since one of his kidneys was gone. (His reaction upon reading the note: “Not again!” :smack: ) Which got me to thinking: If I were to attempt to bring the urban legend of such a thing to life, would there be any point to packing my victim in ice? I can see it slowing down the bleeding, but I can’t see much more point to it than that. I’d think that there would be a greater risk of the victim dying of hypothermia more than anything else, if you packed them in all that ice.
Would there be any point in leaving behind a live victim?
Well, you could avoid a murder conviction if you got caught.
