So I'm at work. And I'm wearing school uniform...

Today is Children In Need day.

For those of you outside of the UK i’ll explain - Children In Need day happens once a year and is one of those big televisiony/charity fund raising days for various kids charities.

Every year the government department i work for does various activities to raise money.

This year, someone had the bright idea that each division should nominate two people to dress up in School Uniform for the day (we’re an education department - geddit??? ). The idea was that everyone in the division would pay a pound to vote for their prefered boy/girl to dress up. Whoever’s name got the most votes would have to do it.

“Sounds like a good idea to me - yeah i’m up for it!” I said, whilst secretly thinking I’m perfectly safe - i’m the quiet techie in the corner, my own boss doesn’t know my name - let alone anyone else!"

I’m an idiot. :smack:

Apparently lots of people in my division know my name…

Pics?

Not yet - but they are BOUND to happen at some point.

OK, so we know your boss must be David Brent, but are you Gareth, Tim, Keith or Finchy?

unfortunately probably Gareth(http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/theoffice/characters/profile_gareth.shtml).

Discovered a hidden benefit to the uniform thing though - all the cuteys in the office who walk past seem to be strangely impressed and stop to chat. woohoo!

although the guy sitting opposite me has thought it incredibly funny to tell EVERY one of them:

“I wouldn’t bother darlin’ the worst he’ll do is steal your dinner money!”

Ha Ha Ha

lets see if he finds it quite so funny when he realises i’ve changed his description on the Intranet from “Press Relations Manager” to “Twat”
