SSG, be a good guy to the recruits, and make friends with the Marine recruiter. The “less than average” recruits should be told truthfully to go to the Marines instead. Try and get the good ones. Also, be realistic to the guys on the street. The Army is not the end-all, be-all of life, and the kids know it.
