I guess now you can see why they lasted. They did not repackage the same crap. The music changed as they did. Each album was something new and different.
Excellent thread - my only complaint/suggestion would be: listen to “Strawberry Fields Forever” a few more times - many fans (including me) consider it among their top 3 songs (“A Day in the Life” always topping the lists).
Love also contains the acoustic version of George doing “While My guitar Gently Weeps”. Eeriely beautiful.
I used to like the Beatles, but I lost all respect for them after they stole the idea for Sgt. Pepper from the Bee Gees.
