So, I'm running for Vice president of my university student government.. Help?

I’m running on a ticket with the president of the college democrats… im president of the college republicans. We are both moderate but we figured there would be good spice having a bi-partisan ticket. we really get along well.

So I need everyones help… how should I run an effective campaign on campus? Any advice? It’s a major state university.

The elections are on april 19th and 20th so anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, we have a bus service on campus… it doesnt run past 10 (I believe) on the weekends. One of the things that I want to do as part of my campaign is extend the service until 3AM which is an hour after the bars close. DUI’s around here are crazy and I really want to change it. How should I go about this? Has any other campus successfully done this? Does anyone know if there are facts out there that show how this service has lowered the number of DUI’s? Anything else on this?

We want to reform the student government so that it’s more effective. Any ideas how to make it more effective?

It is a pretty diverse campus and we are running against two other tickets. Both are pretty liberal in their beliefs.
