Starting this month, we’re haing “dress up” (or down, as it were) days at work. Today is “pajama day” So i am in my teddybear jammies, slippers & pigtails (Oh & of course I broght favorite stuffed animal!)
Anyboy else’s work do stuff like this, or are we just…odd?
I’ve never heard of a Pyjamas Day at work before.
I sleep in my underwear. I’m guessing they don’t want pajama day where I work.
If’n your a chick, not odd at all. In fact, I’m a bit turned on.
If’n your a dude, very, VERY odd. Especially the pigtails.
No, it’s just that where I work, we’re not odd enough for something like this. Although the thought of Tin Knickers in her floor-length white cotton nightie is enough to put me off my lunch.
They do plenty of certifiably weird stuff here (Tonight they’re giving everyone who wants to show up a free showing of Iron Man), but “Jammie Day” is not one of the things they’d do.
I’ve known workplaces to do the occassional themed day and always hated them, to be honest. But some folks love it.
Since I work at home, I can frequently be found working in my jammies.
I’ve never heard of it.
I can be six pounds of fun in a five pound bag under the right circumstances, and I do not object to a modicum of measured whimsy on occasion. But I would absolutely loathe “Dress Up Day!” at work. Loathe it.
heh. the ceo of this little start-up company i work for would have a complete cow right here, right now.
this gent is ex-ernst and winnie or ernst and smith (i can’t remember which) and is so old-school it’s a little daunting. it took a year before the hr manager convinced him it was alright for us ladies to not have to wear pantyhose with a skirt!
the mind boggles at what he would think of the suggestion for a dress-down day!
Beat me to it, but I’m still saying what I came in here to say:
I telecommute. Nearly every day is Pajama Day.
The others are Naked Day.
I did come to work in jammies for Halloween one year. I was so comfortable…
