Famed aviatrix Evelyn “Bobbi” Trout died last Friday at the age of 97.
What a life!
I hope, when I go, that someone recalls me with a phrase so apt as this.
What an incredible life.
I went to the Ninety-Nines page, and there are 22 names that have no year of death (23 if you count Trout, as they haven’t updated the page yet). Over half of them are listed as “whereabouts unknown”. I’d never thought about how many of the Ninety-Nines were left.
