Is Kangaroo meat always so gamey. I have friend in New Zealand who say so, and I found it was very intense and gamey flavour.
But I notice like in America with deers if you feed a deer corn and such, it tastes a lot different from wild deer.
My friends in NZ say that American beef is different from Aussie Beef, but I never had Aussie Beef
It is reasonably gamey. It is actually a very healthy meat as it is very low in fat. However becasue of that you have to be careful in cooking it, and shouldn’t really have it done anymore than medium-rare.
No one actually farms kangaroo’s, all the roo meat is wild caught. Interesting question on the taste, but I would presume if you could farm roo’s and if they would eat corn they might taste different.
