Of course.
you’re not prying. I’m very open about it. I had the lapband installed. I had done the research and decided the band was safer.

It’s not called “Jack sauce” anymore. It’s just called “Secret sauce” and it doesn’t come on any of the sandwiches anymore - it only comes in packets and is available by request. FTR, it’s made of a blend of ketchup, mayo, mustard, Tabasco, A1, Lee & Perrins, and molasses, plus some chopped pickle.

Our internal food-safety program is based on the Hazard Analysis - Critical Control Point protocol, and Dateline recently named JitB the safest of the top ten fast food chains in America. The shift leader in charge at any time is required to observe and document on a special checklist that the proper procedures are being followed, and we maintain an in-house group of health inspectors that perform a surprise inspection on every restaurant at least once each quarter. If things aren’t being done properly, heads roll.
Exactly how far does Jack’s roll on a good day?
Pretty far. It’s got a great shape for rolling, you know.
Hence their motto: Killing you only gradually since 1951
IIRC - JiB was the first with a drive thru, McD’s soon followed. Where I went to college, in the late 70’s, we had only a JitB and a Carroll’s. The closet McD’s or BK was 30 miles away in Kingston.
We used to love that JB was open at 2am - after cramming all night for mid terms, a taco-run was just the thing. Then, of course, we’d walk a block or two down and start on the beers.
