That’s not quite accurate. Posters are free to use the BBQ Pit to complain about online interactions, same as they can complain about real life interactions. What we don’t allow are:
Posters bringing offboard fights with another poster to the board. This includes real-life interactions. If you and your spouse are both posters, and you get in a fight over breakfast, don’t bring that shit here.
Posters trying to stir up action against another board. Don’t start a thread here saying, “Hey, here’s a board full of Republicans/Christians/One Direction fans! Let’s all go over there and tell them how much they suck!”
The OP doesn’t fall into either of those categories. He’s a little close to 2, but he’s not calling out DeviantArt as a whole, just one poster, and he doesn’t provide any information on which poster he’s talking about over there, let alone asking for people here to go over there and yell at a Randian for him.

Sorry, but this hit a nerve. So many times, I get pissed off about something and think “Ooh, I should start a thread…” but I stop myself before this board gets filled up with every little drama, every little thought that anyone might have (and this isn’t even MPSIMS).
So many times, I’m tempted to follow someone’s lead who repeatedly asked another poster “Don’t you have a blog?” after they whined at length about the 100th trivial slight done to them.
To beat this trivial rant into the ground, c’mon, OP… you couldn’t complain on the board in question? Couldn’t bitch on Facebook or Twitter? How about a nice subreddit (does /r/somebodybotheredme exist?), or it’d be just the thing to post on Google+…
