Hey, you ever ask yourself why Seattle is featured in so many TV shows & movies, but you hardly ever hear a word about Portland, except in the occasionally abysmal Madonna flick?

Really, all you need to know to keep yourself driving on up I-5 is that Portland was the locale for that classic of 70s t.v. culture Hello, Larry. That’s right, this is where Col. Henry Blake went after Korea. It’s not good. You’ll like Seattle better. Trust me.

I always wondered why I was required to chant “Praise Larry Alder” between 4-5 am every morning.

I guess that also explains why KLOW is our only local radio station.
