So the Chief Justice of Canada and I were going head-to-head in a debate

Just another hard day’s night, I guess.

Once in one of my flying dreams, I designed an experiment to help figure out how I was flying. And in the light of day, it was a sensible experimental design, which would have worked (where by “worked”, I mean “revealed something”, though for something as far outside the scientific mainstream as unassisted human flight, who knows what that something would be).

(the basic idea was to cover my body with a bunch of tiny thermometers, plus some internal ones, and then perform a bunch of climbs, descents, accelerations, and other aerial maneuvers, to see which ones heated up, and by how much. This would allow me to determine where in my body the flight ability originated, and how efficient it was)

That sounds way more innovative than dredging a century old case out of the memory banks!

Nice one.

I actually thought that happened until you last line.

The thing is, I am sufficiently in awe of your status in the legal world that I found it utterly plausible that you would be presenting an argument before the Chief Justice of Canada - you completely took me in!

< blush >

I think I’m relieved I don’t remember my dreams. Their quality is certainly anemic and inadequate compared to those of folks like @Northern_Piper.

Jackmannii is undoubtedly a hoopy frood.
