And of course the time-travel crossover with Frozone from The Incredibles.
Prequel - The Frozen Menace
Sequel - The Return of the Ice (until we want more money)
Never-to-be-mentioned - The Frozen Christmas Special
Frozen II Direct-To-Streaming: Netflix and Chill
Frozen III: Ice Cubed
It is kind of surprising that there isn’t actually one of these yet. After all, Toy Story, for example, has a Halloween Special and a Christmas Special.
A quick googling shows that it is coming this Christmas.
For the record, Cinderella 3 is amazing.
Return To Neverland is also quite good.
Planes 2 is also good - which is kind of funny, because Planes kind of isn’t.
Wouldn’t that be “Frozen DCCXXIX”?
Since it’s inevitable that they’ll introduce another character with powers, here’s my pitch.
Elsa is managing being queen, but she clearly prefers handling bureaucratic minutia over state visits and grand balls. The much more gregarious Princess Anna is more and more the face of the monarchy. Arendelle remains safe though, as Elsa can halt any invasion (demonstrated by a comical defeat of a naval blockade attempted by the Duke of Weselton).
Elsa is at a loss when a new enemy army marches with a fire sorcerer that can counter her powers. When Elsa freezes (figuratively), Anna proves to be a natural leader and intuitive tactician, saving the kingdom’s defenders, including Kristoff, from destruction. Both sides regroup.
The sisters much reach inside for the self confidence, self acceptance and bravery to win a war.
If there’s going to be a fire based character, there should be a romance.
Frozen 2: Hot 'N Steamy
The season of Once Upon A Time guest starring Elsa was the perfect sequel.
Directed by Spike Lee and called…
Frozone and Elsa: Jungle Fever II
I’d definitely see that opening weekend.
Why are you telling us? Get on the horn to Disney.
Sorry to resurrect a zombie, but I was searching for threads on *Ralph Breaks the Internet *and came upon this comment.
Gyrate, I think you were a *teeeensy *bit wrong on that prediction!
Yeah, we saw the new Ralph movie over the weekend and it was excellent. Action sequences, princesses, character development, grown-up jokes whooshing over the kids’ heads were all there and done well. Lots of details packed in that will reward rewatching it.
Set it in the 1960s, in Haight Ashbury, in California.
Called it Fried.
I’ve seen the clip of Vanillope meeting the princesses and I will admit that it looks good. On the other hand I’ve also seen some of the eBay stuff and am wondering how much of it is product placement.
Well, given that it’s a movie that takes place inside the real Internet, yeah, there are a lot of product placements. But they work, and they’re window-dressing to the main story, which is focused on a pair of friends who realize they can still be friends even if they don’t share every hope and dream. And the new characters (especially Shank) are great.
Good to know. I’m sure I’ll watch it at some point.
I absolutely love Wreck it Ralph, so I’m happy to hear that the sequel doesn’t suck.
Heat Miser/Snow Miser: Grrl Power!
Speaking of Ralph 2, there’s an extra scene halfway through the credits. If you wait until the very end of the credits, though, there’s the best extra scene! Worth the wait.
Dammit.
Spoiler it for me, will you?
