So, waddya all think of Windows 10?

That’s been the case in the past, but I’m not sure it will remain so -Windows Vista represented a peak in terms of system specification requirements - win7 was lighter and win8 will run on similar spec machines to XP.

This will no doubt pick up again, but I’m not sure it will turn into the runaway pursuit of speed that it ws in tge past, so it may well be that Windows users could pick up the habit of upgrading. All MS has to do is make them want to (which has been a problem of late).

All of that applies to the home consumer market. Businesses do upgrade their OSes a fair bit.

I think it’s necessary improvements from Win8.

Actually, among consumers OS upgrades occur more often. Businesses are the major holdovers for Windows XP.

I like the direction Win 10 is going. Looks to solve some of the split-personality issues on Win8 while still allowing a good tablet experience and the unified app store is a very, very nice move.
