So we've covered ink stains on work clothes. Now, how bad is pet hair on clothing?

The question, as a pet owner, is: how much effort do I have to go to for those last ca 10 stray cat hars on my clothing? Because that is about how much can be seen on me on any given day.
Comparing to the daily hassle of removing pet hair, preventing stains and tossing clothes when they are sained beyond washing, is easy.

My kitty is a little fur factory, but I don’t have much trouble keeping my clothes fur-free as long as I don’t pick him up and snuggle with him. I have a lint roller that I use sometimes but for the most part I can just brush off the few stray hairs with my fingers. I certainly don’t have any trouble with my clothes getting fury passively just by being in my house.

I do sweep the floors every day, and I use one of the fur removers Antigen linked to on the furniture and my bed regularly (my cat sleeps in my bed every day/night, and I refuse to sleep in a fury bed). Those 10 minutes of preventative maintenance are key to keeping the house relatively hair-free, if I let it go for a few days it get’s out of hand fast.

We have had a dog and a cat, both who shed quite a bit, for years. But I have never had any problem keeping myself free of cat hair in the work place. I just make sure not to touch them or sit down anywhere in my house before going off to work (before I had my offshore job), and wore freshly laundered clothing every day, I never had any hair on me. And I don’t let any animals in my car without being in a crate, so my car is pretty pet hair free as well.

It’s really not hard to be almost entirely pet hair free if you just avoid touching them or sitting down in the mornings.
