I just posted my hastily-finished Death Pool list. Now I have to figure out what to do about my dog vs fireworks.
I went to big Holiday party last night, so got that checked off the list
Staying in tonight, as I do most times on NYE comforting my rescue dog who has serious issues with loud noises. I love about equidistant to three different localities that do big fireworks. Charlie , my lab mix rescue, will be trembling all night.
We usually stay home New Year’s Eve. We were going to go to friend’s tonight, but our daughter has had an ear infection. She’s getting over that but just wasn’t feeling well earlier. So, we are home, had some appetizers and are droning out on old episodes of The Office while drinking several beers. Happy New Year, all!
I am battling bronchitis and my coughing fits are very unseemly and embarrassing. I don’t usually have a set place to go on NYE so it was a no-brainer to stay home tonight.
Watched the worst Buckeyes game I’ve ever seen in my life and am now getting ready for bed while I watch Anderson & Kathy on CNN.
My local sports bar is closed for the night. They once did New Years parties, but decided to give the staff a well-deserved night off. I could have gone elsewhere, but decided to just stay at home–hereabouts, taxis can be hard to get when places shut down.
I’m alone because my wife and son are out of town with my in-laws for the holidays.
Ate an early dinner at a nice restaurant.
Opened 2 bottles of decent red wine.
Ate my leftovers as snacks as the ball dropped.
Noticed that Kathy Griffin isn’t going to show off her purple bra again this year ( just another reason why 2016 Sucked.)
Burned the living shit out of wood and Duraflames in the fireplace.
Popped over to lots of my usual websites or news and headlines.
Noticed that the multiplayer games on Steam all Sucked tonight.
Made sure all the dishes were clean & drying in the rack.
Cleaned some tools with 3-in-1 oil.
Dropped some cleanser into all of the Commodes to try to get rid of ALL of 2016.

After ten days visiting family in PA, rolled up to Kabong Manor about 11 PM after a lengthy flight from BWI to HOU via Atlanta. Now sipping on a delicious G & T and listening to the fireworks outside. I never go anywhere on New Year’s anyway. Despite an excellent chance for a rather bleak year ahead. I feel good, and relaxed. Happy New Year, one and all!

Never really go anywhere for New Years Eve. Sometimes I go out New Years Day.
I was here waiting on people to come over. We drink sparkling grape juice and sparkling cider. And eat little snack foods.
9:30pm here in Hawaii. We’ve never been big New Year’s people, but we plan to wander over to the beach a couple blocks away here in Waikiki after 11:00 to watch the fireworks.
I Ubered. At bar in Sherman Oaks, CA. I turned 46 yesterday.
