He read a “love letter” one of LT’s kids wrote upon his induction into the Hof (my dad is the greatest dad ever). It almost got me weepy.
Mike Wallace was reading the speech his son gave at his father’s induction into the Hall of Fame.
This was after JT explained how he let his kids down by relapsing and going on a year long hooker and crack orgy that ended only when he was arrested twice.
Has it really ended? You never know for sure.
JT himself says he knows it could happen again. He sounds like my Dad, a recovering alcoholic. You are never not a junkie.
BTW, did anybody catch Boomer Esiason had to say about drugs when he was in the NFL? Something like “That wasn’t how it was when I played!” Meanwhile JT claims the team would discuss where they were going to get some crack after the game in the huddle.
I guess Boomer was on the wrong NY team.

Biggirl, Esiason was on the Bengals for most of his career, only on the Jets during the twilight, presumably after his prime crack-smoking years.
I thought that LT’s comment in reaction to Boomer’s other statements were funny: “I’m in the Hall of Fame with two Super Bowl rings, what about you?”
