So what did you do with old pictures of your ex?

Wow, what jeweler? I hate my wedding ring (the jeweler botched in badly) but I have been told it is pretty much scrap metal (scrap gold, to be sure, which is better than tin, but…) The price of gold that we hear quoted at three-figures-per-ounce is for Plumb Gold, which means it hasn’t been used before. Now, if you were going to supply it to a jeweler to make something for you, then yes, you’d save on the purchase of new gold for that purpose. Which is why I still have mine. Maybe someday I’ll get something else made.

Anyway, on to the OP. I’m in the camp of people who have saved theirs. In fact, I still have a framed photo of me and one ex on my desk here at work. He’s a great guy, still a dear friend, and it cheers me up to see him and think of him. My husband doesn’t really like him, but overall he’s not threatened by my hanging on to photos. The rest of them are all in boxes, mostly.

So that’s where my family went! I get the picture, now! :smiley:
