So what does Sam say to Frodo? (Two Towers spoilers)

Time for another LOTR thread, methinks!

So I’ve watched all the TTT Extended Edition bits now, and I still don’t know what Sam says to Frodo at Osgiliath, after Frodo goes all wonky and can’t hear him, after Sam says ‘Hold on, Mr. Frodo. We’ll be alright…’

Anyone a lipreader who can help?

And please, no ROTK spoilers – I’m trying to stay virginal till Saturday!

Assuming you’re watching on DVD - have you tried turning on subtitles?

You mean this part?

The subtitles don’t say anything for that bit!

Squeegee, no, it’s a scene before that, where Fro and Sam are being held by the Gondorians, and Frodo says ‘his eye’s almost on me’ and Sam starts talking to him, but Frodo can’t hear, and looks all bewildered. Just before he does the whole Poltergeist ‘they’re here, they’ve come’ bit.

Nevermind, I see the part you’re referring to. Frodo says something like “his eye is almost on me.”, then Sam says “hold on Mr. Frodo, we’ll be all right” then the soundtrack gets all muffly. The subtitles on the DVD stop working at that point as well. Sam says two more sentences that we can’t hear.

He says, “Mr. Burns, I love you.”
Oh wait, that was a Simpsons episode.

So can anyone help? I’d really like to know!

He says “I will now pretend to say something important so that the fans will go nuts trying to figure out what it is.”
