So, what else can I make in my rice cooker?

I got this new fancy fuzzy logic timer Zojirushi rice cooker, and I picked up a cookbook of just stuff you can make in rice cookers. Which is awesome and amazing. This morning I made steel cut oats.

So, what’s worthwhile to make? What do you guys use it for?

Steel-cut oats Irish oats. I believe conventional cooking method calls for 1 part oats to 4 parts water, but in the cooker you need to use a good bit less water. Use the “porridge” setting, put the stuff in and let 'er go.

I love my Zojirushi. That’s the most-used applicance in my kitchen. It looks a little like a Toyota Prius.
