Now having unblocked internet access at work and more free time on my hands I decided to subscribe after taking a couple years off from the SDMB.

A quick update for those who have asked where I’ve been…
Still involved in the inner city literacy program I always did when I posted here. I haven’t done Book Fairies like we did back then due to it becoming an overwhelming project and I didn’t have the time this year. Maybe next year.
After much thought and deliberation, Sauron and I are having another minion. Due in late July. Cross your fingers for a girl this time. But a boy will work too.
That’s a really quick update on the last couple of years.
Basically since you’ve been gone we’ve come up with workable solutions for the subprime crisis, global warming, AIDS in Africa and missing socks. The beauty is that we have forged a true consensu amongst all sides of the political spectrum.
Oh yeah, we completely beat to death the concept of an airplane on a treadmill.
Well, Aries27 and Aries29 have completely filled the void left by your departure. But they often will get into flame wars with Cancer12 and Gemini31. So hopefully you can calm things down a bit.
