Mine’s Lark–yes, just like the bird.
Leonie
Denise. No middle name. Now that’s the odd part.
Hi, my name is Kathy and I’m a SDMB addict.
Leslie. I have a Chinese middle name.
Ooh, the first Sarah with an “h”. Always with an “h”. You may not call me Sally, Silly, Sarah-bearah, Sairy, Sully, Rah-rah and you may definitely not call me Sars. For then I will have to cause you great pain. Rar is allowed. So is “darling little cuddlemuffin” but in return I will be expecting at the very least semi-precious gems. Thank you.
I’m Finneas (like the giant), but I’m called Finn.
Incidentally, Antares and Nazirah are two really cool names that I had never heard before.
~ Isaac
Sure you do.
Ash…
Short and sweet just like me!
Mac.
My apologies for singling people out, but what does Antares mean? And Nazirah? If I want to look up the less unusual ones, I can, but not those.
Ah, the joy of having a weird name.
Nazirah means “leader or vanguard”. Its an old Arabic name, and isn’t very common at all any more. Hence why no one’s heard of it.
I’m Shannon. I don’t know if i like it, i don’t think it goes with my last name.
flod.
What? All right, all right. Cindy.
Another Wendy here. Which is not something I get to say often, as I live in a country where it’s a very unusual name.
Rhonda
Tatu.
Tracy
Vina. It’s an okay name, or it would be if people didn’t keep spelling/pronouncing it wrong. There was also that musical lesson where the teacher asked us to feel the veena’s gourds.
Thankfully, we’re not studying Indian music any longer.
