Mary, I go by my middle name though.
Mine is Jaimee-Lyn. But I go by Jaimee. Or, actually, my freinds call me Gin. As in the alcohol. (I;m a teenager, go figure.)
Of course, everyone spells my name wrong because, well, its spelt weird. My mom was doped up on painkillers when she signed the gift certifacate. Or at least, thats what I tell myself…
I’m an idiot; thats what you get for doing your shopping list at the same time as this.
Its BIRTH certificate. BIRTH.
I’m Robert, hence the ‘R’ in RCracer.
Well, my family used my middle name when i was growing up but I decided in my early teens that I didn’t like that name and started using my first name. Now I have ceased to really care what name is used as long as it is not preceded by “You are under arrest…” or some other such phrase.
Confused yet? Most people are. Including my family…
Glad to meet you all, my name is Robert Paul.
(R.P. has become the easiest solution these days.)
My brother is Paul Robert. (We just call him Paul, although I sometimes call him Paulie) Not that anyone cares!
ONe of my best friends growing up’s name was Siobhan. She put an accent over the a. Do you do that? I need to know!!
Lynn. Lynn Marie if you want the middle name too.
Because my nickname was Linny, people who knew me online and in real life also would always spell my name “Linn” when they saw me online. I wound up getting used to that, but I never write “Linn” myself unless I’m using the nicks Linn Lorentz, linndividual or linnocent.
There’s also the nickname rinni which only a few people actually use in real life.
I don’t really care how people spell my name… as long as they do not spell it Lynne!
- rinni, overexplainer extraordinaire!
Krystal here:D waves to the crowd
Hello, my name is April.
Real name is Mary, but that’s just on official stuff (or what people call me if they knew me from 3rd-8th grades when I went by it).
The name absolutely everyone calls me is Missy. Pleased to meetcha!
Andrew. G’day. [tips hat]
I’m Drew to family and to those I consider clan. And I can remember when Drew was always a boys’ name.
I’m another Ann, bren_cameron. But I wish my name were Laura. I just like it better.
Tell yourself that all you like, but that’s not why. She thought “Jaimee” was less masculine than Jamie. You’re named after Grandpa Stephens.
My name is Corrine, and I’m Miss Magic8Ball’s aunt. My name is pronounced Kor-een.
Another Dave here.
But never Davy or David, please. “Dave” will work just fine.
Hello, everybody!
I’m Emily Mom’s initials were MLE, but that ain’t why I’m called Emily. Just a happy coinky-dink.
hey guys!
My name is Jemma, thats with a J!
You’d never guess in a million years… It’s Bob. But most people spell it backwards.
Wendolyn…what’s cracka-lackin’?
Of course, when I tell people my name it usually goes like this:
Me: “Hi, my name is Wendolyn.”
Them: "Gwendolyn?
Me: “No, no - Wendolyn, no ‘G’”
Them: “No what?”
Me: “No ‘G’–!!!”
Them: “Huh?”
Me: “Never mind. Just call me Wendy.”
Them: “Oh, like Peter Pan!”
Me: groan
