To be fair, the Republican loss in last year’s election was more Senator McCain’s fault than hers. I mean, he was the primary candidate, not she, and it’s not like he was running ahead in the polls until video of her engaged in a Satanic ritual caused his followers to desert him in droves. I think she probably decreased the Democrats’ margin of victory.
The cadence is superior that way.

Eh, it’s hard to blame McCain, too. Fact of the matter was that he was the default candidate. Romney wasn’t WASP enough, Fred and Rudy didn’t want to actually bother campaigning, and Huckabee (the only one that scared me before Whackjob Sarah was picked) would never have satisfied the money wing.
