So, where are you buying Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix from

Maybe it’s just my location, but I tend to get their free shipping stuff in about a day. Heck, for the last thing I ordered I got an e-mail dated the 28th saying it had been shipped, and later on the 28th it was at my door!

Woo! $17.87 at Amazon, thanks to my old order!

I tried to order from Amazon.uk, but it wouldn’t recognize my credit card. (I used the same card to buy the UK editions of the other Harry Potter books last year.) I sent them an e-mail asking how to resolve the problem.

little book store a few minutes from my house. although i dont know how the plans are set for june, for goblet of fire they had a midnight party and im hoping they’ll do it again. i reserved my copy two days after the publishing date was announced.

Half.com has it for $17.07 No free shipping, though.

I was able to place my pre-order with Amazon.uk. The credit card number needed the spaces in it.

Why would I order the book from England? Originally, I bought The Philosopher’s Stone because I objected to the Americanisation. Then, of course, I had to get the matching volumes. I prefer the non-U.S. spelling. It’s more pleasing, aesthetically.

Yeah, I’m going to get mine either at the thrift store or check it out from the library like all the other bestsellers I read. I save my book spendin’ money for obscure things I’ll treasure, not stuff I’ll read a couple times and probably take to the used bookstore to trade in.

Is it true that it is released in the UK before they release it in the US?

Dang, I should have waited to purchase this (non-Americanized version from Amazon.co.uk) when the exchange rate falls a bit. Oh well.

I have to get it from Amazon.co.uk because my mom bought me the first four as a set from there.

amazon.com. Don’t know how I lived without it.

We have to get ours from Canada so we can have a matched set. We’ll probably go with chapters.indigo.ca.
