Makes total sense to me. Rorschach is emotionally broken; he appeals to the women who want to fix him. He had the roughest early life of any of the characters. He’s a woobie.
For me personally, Nite Owl II all the way. I loved him in the comic; Patrick Wilson’s movie performance solidified it. He’s a bit of a woobie too, but one who’s problems are more fixable.
