Was it Bush? NOOOOO! Was it Gore? NOOOOOO!
IT WAS HILIARY. Who could have predicted that?
Feminism at its finest!

I don’t understand. Are you saying that this is a good thing or a bad thing?
Actually, in NYC and LI it was a bunch of “Bush Wins!” which later had to be recanted.
No, by me it was Hillary (good thing I hadn’t eaten - bad manners to puke in newsstand). Pres race said photo finish in banner.
Post did say Bush won. Most NYers consider the Post unfit to line birdcages. Daily National Enquirer.
Um, Annie? Who would you expect to be on the front? A big picture of Florida? In a state that is so heavily Democratic, I wouldn’t expect much else. I would consider Hillary (two “l”'s) to certainly be on the cover, as it is history in the making that she won, not to mention the fact that that this issue has been more important and closer locally than the presidential race.
Well, I’d argue that, Connor, that they should put the Prez on IF THEY ARE SURE. No “Dewey Wins” headlines. Hillary was the safe call.
I thought it was absolutely wonderful. The irony of it all. I wish I had gone around on Tuesday and taken bets that Hillary would be on the front page of the Wednesday newspapers.
Nobody could have orchestrated it.
