OK, I’ve joined the great lakes game (your turn, anyrose) and started the first round of the Australia game by kicking some Ostrogoth butt. And we’re off. I’ll do my best to keep up this time. As long as we’re done by the end of March, anyway. That’s when I want to be moving. Remind me not to join anymore games, eh?

even browser games get add-ons? do they work on the default explorer? how “must do” is it? if it’s too much of a hassle to install (i don’t want two browsers) i’ll make do without mods…

GreaseMonkey is a tool that works within your browser. I have only tried it with Firefox. The script that it loads is specific for ConquerClub. For me it is well worth it and was easy to do. Take a look at the forum on CC to see how to do it.

Any tips for Australia? My basic strategy for Classic games is to get a continent and work from there, but it’s not really doable in Australia.

we should play a doubles or a triples game when we’re through with one or two of the current games. They’re team games, 2 on 2 or 3 on 3, teams are based on the order of joining the game, and you can fortify your teammates’ countries when you’re done with your attacks

To play a team game, try doubles, triples and quadruples. Quadruples games must be played with 8 players, triples games with 6 players, doubles games with 4 or 6 or 8. Teammates are determined by the sequence of players, for example the first two players and second two players make up two teams in a doubles game. In team games, you can deploy on and fortify to your teammate’s territories. The score is calculated per team. When a player is auto-kicked in a team game, the first surviving teammate inherits the armies and cards.

I’m Liking the alternate maps. Takes a bit to get used to the geographic oddities, I spent some reinforcements in a territory I didn’t realize wasn’t quite adjacent where I thought it was, thus wasting those troops for a turn. It’s a nice change of pace. Thanks for starting those games, Anyrose.

I really like the World 2.0 map, although it is a BIG map and tends to make for a pretty long game. Asia & Europe not so hot on, but maybe that’s just because the 2 games I’ve played on each I’ve lost :smack:

I like the idea of a doper team game. Definitely count me in.
