Yes, I know it’s years away, but the way every cartoon and comic book hero has been live-actioned to death (and back with Superman, apparently) I just wondered.
Who for Kim? Ron? Dr. Drakin? Shego? Anybody else?
Who’s going to WHAT Kim and Ron?
The answer to this question will dictate my answer to your question.
Based on current actors (which probably won’t apply when the movie would end up getting made:)
Kim - Lindsay Lohan, assuming she can do gymnastics and movie fighting (and assuming she’s at least reasonably capable in each, CGI could do the rest well enough)
Ron - We need a lovable loser for this one, someone scrawny. I’m thinking the guy who played Andrew on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Dr. Drakin - Not sure on this one. Someone over the top, for some reason my head says “Mike Myers”. Second vote goes to Ben Stiller, but he’s not quite the right sort of over-the-top. Though now that I think about it, I’d kinda like to see Jack Black in this role.
Shego - If we’re talking about Drakin’s smarter-than-he-is henchwoman, she always struck me as a brunette version of Kim, so Lindsay Lohan with black hair.
Ron’s naked mole rat (Who’s name escapes me) - Mark Hamil (voice only, of course.) What? The mole rat says real words. Just not a lot of them. Usually one for every 3 or 4 second long spat of mole-rat chatter.
Kim’s Dad: I dunno, but we need someone who can play the wholesome smart dad to a tee for this one.
Kim’s Mom: Ideally someone who can play smart, confident, and quasi-MILF-ably sexy. (What?)
Kim’s Twin Brothers - Frankie Munez should play both, via CGI, assuming he still looks significantly younger than Lindsay Lohan (have to say I’ve not payed very close attention to him)

Kim Possible and her sidekick, Ron Stoppable. I’m more interested in who is going to play the naked molerat.
BTW, Christy Carlson Romano voices Kim (she’s 21 right now, so not much worse a pick than Lindsay “I wanna be Britney Spears” Lohan. Will Friedle is too old to play Ron (he’s almost 30 now) and Raven is too large to play Monique. And I just learned that our favourite voice artist, Nancy Cartwright, does Rufus (aforementioned naked molerat).

Well, as long as they don’t have the same singer do the theme song. That’d be just creepy.
(One of my favorite bits of TV trivia: Christina Milian, who hit the charts a year or two ago with the VERY suggestive single “Dip It Low,” performed the Kim Possible theme song.)

The biggest “pleasant surprise” I got out of the voice casting was when I found out John DiMaggio does the voice of Dr. Drakken. He’s also Bender on “Futurama.”
The show has the best voice talent of any animated series, IMO. My favorite voice actor, Patrick Warburton, does Mr. Barkin. Add Gary Cole (Kim’s dad), Jean Smart (Kim’s mom), Nicole Sullivan (Shego), and of course you can’t beat Ricardo Montalban as Senor Senior, Sr. And Will Friedle and Christy Carlson-Romano do a great job, too. I wonder if the show would work as well without such a great cast.
Which means I can’t answer the OP, since I can’t imagine anyone else doing the voices, and I think a live-action version of the show would be completely unnecessary.
There’s just something about his voice that does something for me … and he ain’t hard on the eyes either. I watch stuff I don’t even like, for instance the Buzz Lightyear cartoon, just to hear him speak. I even watched some of Big Trouble to see him.

Yep, he’s also Harvey Birdman on “Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law” btw. That, Kim Possible, Dodgeball, and Office Space make him a total bad-ass in my book.
I suppose that woulkd be the default choice, but how about we simply go for the easy joke. Immagine the end credits reading Dr. Drew Lipsky, played by Dr. Drew Pinsky
Alyson Hannigan has the hair to play Kim. Dunno if she still looks young enough, or is kickass enough.

Why would we need a rumor? Why can’t we just (As I suspect we are doing) discuss what choices we think are best for a purely theoretical movie, like they used to do for comic-book movies in Wizard magazine?
