Because I read someone else doing so, and I actually get to disagree with them without it in any way impacting my real life. And it’s an easy thing to talk about since I actually have opinions on this, unlike many other things.

And typing gives me time to think on how to say the best I can–at least, when I’m not being made stupid by anger.

Because you need to say something and if you do it in real life you’ll probably get punched in the face or ostracized? Say it here safely instead. Besides, most people on this board respond in very interesting ways unlike most of my relatives and neighbors.
