Sodom and Gomorrah: the Movie

Oh for Chrissakes.

I guess the fundies have got their panties in a knot over the success of Brokeback Mountain and decided to make their OWN little movie about the evils of homosexuality.

Looks like they’re getting desparate.

I don’t know whether to be annoyed and offended, or amused and entertained by the stupidity.

And if it doesn’t get nominated for an Oscar, well, that just proves that Hollywood’s a tool of the leftist homo agenda!

They obviously don’t know why the cities were destroyed.

Thank you, sir!

If they’re going to tell the story, they could use the Biblical reason it was destroyed.

According to the synopsis, the main character has two teenagers. Presumably, in the end he’ll be rewarded for sending them out to be raped by strangers.

Just wait till you see what he and his daughters get into later on in the story…

I’d take that story with a grain of salt if I were you.

"The cities that mocked the very name of God…The vengeance that tore the Earth asunder! "

Sodom and Gomorrah, 1962.

Kahn’s deli in the Rice village in Houston has a copy of the poster for sale that I have long desired. When I win the lottery, it’s going to be the first purchase I make.

Why the hell isn’t Kirk Cameron in this movie? Are they allowed to make movies like this without him? He may need to speak with the shop steward.

Is anyone besides me surprised that the filmmakers are an interracial couple?

And that, while they haven’t, as lonesome loser noticed, listed the real reasons that the cities were destroyed, the apparently spent four years researching it?

Not surprised, but the devil inside me wonders how what percentage of the people who will see that film will approve of it.

I have a feeling that most of those four years were spent in highway rest areas…

I know the filmmakers are allegedly married and all, but that guy’s picture and “director’s notes” fucking buried the needle on my gaydar. Methinks that wife is going to be in for an “Alma Del Mar moment” one of these days.

Looks like either an extremely low-budget schlock-fest that will never see theatrical release or a joke.

Explain, please.

The Synapasis doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the title.

I think they’re trying to remake reefer madness with gays instead of pot(and no doubt think reefer madness is very accurate and well researched as well).

Alma is Ennis del Mar’s wife in Brokeback Mountain.

Man, did you check out that forum? I’ve seen bad homosexuality v. Masculine Jesus death matches before - hell, I nearly brought one to the ground on myspace - but there was ignorance flying on both sides of the issue, there. It was like Fred Phelps in a gay bar in the middle of Pulaski, Tennessee. Someone was crying over The End Times, someone else was repenting, someone else was making up scientific studies, someone else was never going back into the closest, and I am pretty sure there was a SBC leader in the corner masturbating. It’s times like these when I wonder if I am getting more innocent or if the world is getting more crazy.

Ah, I see. I haven’t seen it yet-I’m going to next weekend.

Brokeback Mountain reference. It’s the moment when

Heath Ledger’s wife happens to look out the window and see her husband making out with Jake Gyllenhaal.

Did you notice…they have actual real life Fred Phelps church members posting there.
