Sold Out! Best way to get Broadway Tix?

Not sure if this is the right forum…

Want to take my wife to see South Pacific on Valentine’s Day. Officially sold out, but there are a ton of online vendors (StubHub, etc) that do have tix. Don’t have any experience with this though.

Any recommendations on approach?

I was going to recommend the TKTS booth, but a search of their website suggests that they’ve never had tickets for South Pacific… hmm.

I’ve had luck with StubHub in the past; I suppose what it comes down to is whether you’re willing to pay the price listed for the tickets. Broadway is a pretty attractive venue for Valentine’s Day romancing, so I’d buy ASAP if you find a price you’re willing to pay.

Yeah, have to decide on value - but how trustworthy is StubHub and the like?

Stubhub is very trustworthy. They have booths at Yankee stadium and Shea. They are no fly by night sort of deal. I’d trust StubHub over Craigs list anyday.

Tickets are only sent to the TKTS booth when the show is not sold out, or when the house will be close to sold out.
