solicitating architecture clients

I just watched the “How I Met Your Mother” episode when Ted started Mosbius Designs. Do architects really cold call like that?

Solicitating? Do you mean “soliciting”? Do we need to add “ate” and “age” liberally to verbs and nouns now? I’m questionating your choicage by typitating a postage on this forumage.

I have no idea if architects cold call people for work, but it seems like that would be a tough way to get clients.

“Hi, um, were you thinking about building a new house or office? I could totally do the designage for you…”

Yes I meant solicitng. I KNEW that word didn’t look right!

Wilbur Post usually waited for people to call HIM.

Mike Brady worked at a firm downtown; they probably had a business development department that handled public announcements, placed bids, and assigned him work from the bids they won.
