Very impressive Fenris. You’re wrong about “Affable Al” (as Fiver pointed out, it was Alan Moore in 1963 comics, in a vicious parody of Stan Lee), but knowing Harlan Ellison (from “The Dangerous Dreams of Harlequin Ellis”) makes up for it.

Yes, Shodan – the Jay Garrick Flash fought Sieur Satan et. al. in the first Flash story.

As for I – he appeared in the story “The I Who Defeated the Justice League.” The JLA killed him, whereas all he did to them was to make them unable to fight as a team.
