Some Questions Anout RMS TITANIC

Many years ago, I read something by one of the TITANIC’s officers (who stayed on the ship till the end). He stated that he saw groups of men ransacking many of the first-class cabins…presumably thei thieves made off with a lot of money, jewelry, etc. Did any of the survivors file claims against White Star and its insurance companies for such (robbery-related) losses?
Second, I know the French expedition (which was criticized for “pilfering” the wreck)brought back a lotof junk-like bottles, chinaware, cooking pots, etc. Did they recover ANYTHING of value(like the afore-mentioned jewelry of the upper class passengers?
Finally, when were the last claims against the White Star lLine filed? Admiralty Law allows claims for some time after such an accident.
