Somebody summarize the debate for me

Three years.

Is there an official confirmation for that?

Yep. It’s hard to say exactly where Trump lost it- after 15 minutes? 20 Minutes? 45 minutes? But it is clear he started out pretty Ok, when sticking to the issues. Once Hillary was able to land a couple attacks, Trump fell apart.

At the 30 minute mark, maybe. After that, Trump lost badly.

That’s the Statute of Limitations for a Tax Audit. there are exceptions.

So, if one of my parents has terminal cancer and I say I’m rooting for them to die so I can collect their insurance, that’s cool? I mean, their death is inevitable, so it doesn’t matter how I feel about it, right? It’s just business!

Yeah, I had to look that up:

I think this is what she’s responding to. Trump is so incoherent that it’s hard to decipher his point sometimes, but I think he was saying, “this past week I’ve been out campaigning and you haven’t.” So I think Clinton’s takeaway was correct.

She was overprepared in the beginning. Her opening statement really had me worried, as she kept pausing for just slightly too long as she remembered what her next sentence was. And then “Trumped Up Trickle Down” was a terrible terrible line, I’m sorry but it was.

Fortunately she dispensed with the obviously canned lines fairly quickly and took out her switchblade.

Let’s look at Clinton’s quote–to which Trump said, “That’s business, by the way”:

Her quote isn’t exact–but here’s the exact quote:

It’s pretty clear he’s hoping for the misfortune of others, because it’ll make him money.

Sure, that’s business. That’s cutthroat, shitty human being business.

Yes.

Hope you like bunnies.

One rabbit stew, coming up!

Hollywood Reporter sez this debate was watched by 80 million people, making it the most watched debate ever. The previous most watched was the 1980 Carter - Reagan debate.

That’s entertainment!

Here’s a funny, but still satirically accurate summary: https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/compost/wp/2016/09/27/last-nights-debate-or-the-mansplaining-olympics/?hpid=hp_no-name_opinion-card-b%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.949c4c9859ed

Hillary Qlinton 2016!

I’m sorry but you’re wrong here, iiandyiiii. Mr. Trump stated emphatically that he is in favor of people suffering if he can make a buck from it.

Looks like the belt pack for a wireless mic to me. I think that’s the wire running from the edge of her hair to the collar.

I could prolly find out who the A2 was on the job and ask him, but that sure looks like a belt pack to me.

“Hilldog”? :dubious:

Not a reader of right wing message boards, I take it. It’s a standard slur on those places.

I encourage Trump to use it in his next debate. It will make him look more presidential.

Those could be the buckles for a bulletproof vest.

That’s her rapper name.
