You know those questions someone asks you and they get stuck in your head and you have to find out the answer? Well this has been driving me insane:
What is the name of the opera Hannibal goes to in ‘Hannibal’?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thankyou.

The outdoor opera, Dante’s La Vida Nova, which Dr. Lecter and Mr. Pazzi see in Florence, was especially composed for the movie. The composer Patrick Cassidy did not stop at the three minute part which as performed in the movie, but composed a whole opera.

At the end of the book version, Clarice and Hannibal attend an opera together in Buenos Aires, where Barney spots them. I don’t have the book here, so I don’t know if they see the same opera.
